1.one和ones如果有定语修饰,前面可带冠词、基数词或物主代词：
I don`t like this hat.Show me a bigger one(the two other ones.)
我不喜欢这顶帽子，拿一顶大点的（拿另外那两顶）给我看。
2。物主代词后面紧跟有own时，不可接one或ones：
I`m not used to your dictionary,I`d rather use my own.
我不习惯用你的字典，我宁愿用我自己的。
3。one前可直接加this或that；而ones须带有另外的定语时前面才可加these或those，否则只用these，those即可：
This book is easy,but that one is rather difficult. (或but those thick ones或thos are rather difficult)
这本书容易读，但是那本很难读。（或但是那些厚本子（或那些）很难读。）
