Across和OVER
We walked over/across the road.
See if you can jump over/across the stream.
His room’s just over/across the corridor.
We’ll be over/ across the frontier by midnight.
How long would it take to swim across the river?
If we can be over/across the fence before sunrise we’ve got a chance.
When I last saw him he was climbing very slowly over the fence.
who are those people wandering over/across the fields?
It took him six weeks to walk across the desert.(*在这里不能用OVER)
