Dear Sam, I wonder if I should tell you these things. I am not very happy when I am living in my dormitory indeed. Some of the classmates who live in room 8239 aren't very good boys. Please allow me to tell you something that I can't bear. First, they often play cards and laugh very loudly before the lights are turned off, and almost all the students in the dormitory can hear them! They are also fond of saying things which is impolite. Second, when the lights are turned off, they go on talking and laughing until it is very late. They also listen to music in order to make the room very musical. I can well remember that there was a time when I requested them to stop, but they didn't pay any attention to me and went on talking, laughing and listening. I can't sleep well, and I can but read books using a small light untill they stop. This really affect me. Third, several students who from other classes often come to our room and talk about something unhealthy. The thing really make me angry is that they have smoked in the toilet of our room for two times! I hope you can help me. I can't find my happiness in the dormitory. I try again and again and I can't get on well with such students indeed. P.S. I don't want them be angry with me because of this letter. The only purpose that I write this letter to you is to change a room. I have expected it for a long time. In any case, I have to say "thank you" to you of reading this letter. Yours
