这里的why 后面的 it was that 应该可以去掉吧？为什么要加上it was that呢？如果是主语太长用上形式主语it 是可以理解的，但是去掉it was that的话，主语只是一个he ，用it 做形式主语好象全无必要，而且去掉 it was that的话，只用一个宾语从句就可以了，何必用asked why 这个宾语从句再加上it was that这个表语从句这么麻烦，不过我想书上这么用肯定有它的道理，我主要想知道 加上这个表语从句起到什么作用？
